DANBURY – A multi-acre dog park should be open to the city’s canines and their owners by the start of the new school year in September.
The dog park, off Miry Brook Road on the grounds of Danbury Airport, will be located across from a runway.
“It will take some getting used to,” said Nicholas Kaplanis, the city’s Recreation Director. “We’ve gotten FAA approval, so it should be done by late summer or early fall.”
The park will be open to all breeds.
