Sports bar franchisor Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery announced plans to expand in Danbury and Stamford, without immediately specifying locations.
Tempe, Ariz.-based Tilted Kilt has Connecticut pubs in Milford and Wethersfield among more than 100 in the United States and Canada. Originally launched in Las Vegas in 1993, the company touts “authentic pub fare and craft beer with a side of sexy servers” in its words. Tilted Kilt was included on a CNBC list this year of the fastest-growing restaurants in the country.
The new Tilted Kilt pubs will be run by Irish Assets LLC led by Joseph Amodio, with Boston’s Fenway Park among the target locales for an opening this fall.
