Glenholme School in Washington, CT was on lockdown May 21 after former student threatened to kill staff member

WASHINGTON — Glenholme School initiated a lock down of the facilities May 21 after a call was received from a former student threatening to kill a staff member, State Police said.

The former student, Colby M. Paul, was located at his residence in the town of Avon and taken into custody by Avon Police. He had attended Glenholme School briefly in 2009.

Paul was transported to Connecticut State Police Troop L headquarters in Litcheifle and charged with first-degree harassment,, second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace.

Paul was released on $2,500 bond with court date June 1 in Superior Court in Bantam.

There were no injuries involved in this incident at Glenholme School lifted its lock down shortly after Paul was located and taken into custody, police said.
