Michael Wilmot, the 47-old Danbury Hospital employee charged with sexually assaulting a female patient in June, had his case continued to Oct. 3 during an appearance in Superior Court Thursday.
Wilmot, who is free on $35,000 bond, has not yet entered a plea to the two first-degree sexual assault counts he faces.
Judge Andrew Roraback issued a protective order Thursday barring Wilmot from having any contact with the 45- year-old victim who told police he assaulted her while she was under the influence of prescription pain medication on June 12.
