The Connecticut Audubon Society has started an very helpful website called Connecticut Bird Finder. It’s at http://www.ctaudubon.org/2013/11/connecticut-audubon-bird-finder-for-november-15-black-scoter/
The idea is that ponce a week, the site will feature one bird worth seeking out. It will tell you where to find it, what it looks like and what other birds might be around. It will be posted Friday mornings, giving people time to plan where to bird over the weekend. This week’s bird is the black scoter. Here’s a picture of one.
